ISO 9000 is a set of international standards for quality management and quality assurance. The standards represent an international consensus on good management practices with the aim of ensuring that the organization can, time and time again, deliver the product or services that meet the client’s quality requirements.

The quality system requirements defined by ISO 9000 are general in nature, allowing companies to develop their own procedures, policies, work instructions. Each company defines, in detail, what standards and procedures are needed.

TRA Certification (TRA-CD) is an Indiana corporation founded in 1993, and is a quality systems registrar. TRA-CD was formed for the exclusive purpose of registering our clients' quality systems to the ISO 9000 and related quality standards. As a third-party registrar, along with our partner NQA-USA, we offer professional services to assist you in determining whether your quality system meets the requirements of the appropriate ISO 9000 or related standard and whether the requirements have been effectively implemented.
